RFI: History of employee relations in SA hospitals

Hi,

I am currently doing a master's degree at the university of Stellen-
bosch, South Africa on the viability of workplace forums in the health 
care industry, which focus on employee participation in hospitals.

I am now searching for information on the history of employee relation-
ships and structures that were in place prior to the new Labour Rela-
tions Act to solve employee problems in hospitals.

Any assistance on the above will be appreciated!
