On 1 February 1999, JHPIEGO launched a revised version of ReproLine, 
its Reproductive Health Online web site. With its new look, organization 
and expanded content, ReproLine will better support reproductive health 
trainers by providing them with the tools, information and communica-
tion forums they need for conducting training and providing family 
planning services effectively. In addition, the revised ReproLine will 
offer visitors more information about changes in training philosophies 
and technologies. New and improved features include:

* A quick way to create a schedule for a Contraceptive Technology Up-
  date (CTU) using an automated CTU schedule maker

* Ready-to-use course and workshop materials including: 

- Hundreds of new and expanded presentation graphics on contraceptive
  methods and other selected reproductive health topics 

- Checklists for clinical family planning procedures and training
  skills 

* Training tips, such as how to incorporate role plays and case studies
  in training, and how to prepare for courses using a checklist 

* Full text of reproductive health reference manuals, including the
  popular "Questions Commonly Asked by Providers" 

* Information on contraceptive advances 

* Articles on key topics in reproductive health training, such as per-
  formance improvement and infection prevention 

* Connection to other reproductive health trainers around the world
  through REPRONET-L, a discussion group that communicates through
  electronic mail 

* Electronic newsletters on training and reproductive health topics 

In addition, we are in the process of adding information in French, 
Spanish, Portuguese and Russian.
