Inform'Action Nr. 3 is out!

This issue provides an overall summary of the Pacific telehealth con-
ference held in Noumea, 30 November - 3 December 98. This conference 
was the first meeting co-organised by SPC/PACNET and PBMA/Western Pa-
cific Health Net. The complete proceedings should be published later in 
the Pacific Health Dialog medical journal in English and French.

Here's the content of Inform'Action Nr. 3:

- Productive conference on telehealth in the Pacific;
- Example of experience and hopes for telehealth;
- PACNET, the Pacific islands tuned on the 21st century;
- PBMA: an association for the development of the indigenious physician
  workforce;
- Establishing medical associations and the role of information tech-
  nologies;
- Distance education in the Pacific: towards a regional curriculum?
- Distance medical consultation in the Pacific;
- Proposal to establish a Pacific-based network laboratories;
- Measles mass immunisation campaigns in the Pacific;
- Correction and comments: Measles immunisation campaigns in New Zea-
  land.
