The 30th World Conference on Lung Health will be held at the Palacio de
Congresos in Madrid, Spain, 14-18 September 1999. It is organised by 
the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IUATLD)
in conjunction with the Spanish Society of Pneumology and Thoracic Sur-
gery (SEPAR). The two official languages of the conference are English 
and Spanish.
