Impact on HIV: Linking Care and Prevention
Volume 1, Number 1, October 1998

Family Health International's (FHI) first issue of Impact on HIV, a
semi-annual magazine about HIV/AIDS prevention and care, is now online.

This first issue of Impact on HIV examines efforts to link HIV preven-
tion with care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS and their
families. Included are articles on innovative programs in India and Ni-
geria, access to antiretroviral therapy in non-industrialised coun-
tries, the experience with highly active antiretroviral therapy in the
United States, living with HIV, preventing mother-to-child HIV trans-
mission, and voluntary HIV counselling and testing.
