Some of the panels include -

Strategies toward Health Equity:
Health policy analysts will discuss methods used to measure and reduce
inequity in health systems.

Gender and Cairo+5:
Donor Perspectives on Challenges and Opportunities International agen-
cies will present successful strategies and constraints in incorporat-
ing Cairo +5 recommendations to assure gender equity in health programs
for women.

Health for All?
Resource Allocation in Delivery Systems Challenges in developing global
partnerships and creative mechanisms for obtaining resources to provide
effective healthcare delivery systems globally will be presented, in-
cluding successful corporate-NGO partnerships and recent U.S. govern-
ment developments.

Donors, Gender, Cairo+5:
Views of Women from the South Representatives from southern NGOs will
discuss the successes and failures of development assistance agencies
in incorporating a gender perspective in reproductive health.

Using Technology to Disseminate Health Information:
The use of technology and mass media (radio, television and the Inter-
net) to promote health information to a wider audience will be pre-
sented with case studies.

The Implications of Health Sector Reform for Reproductive Health and
Rights:
Health sector reform has a direct impact on the reproductive health and
rights agenda, and discussion will highlight the challenges and oppor-
tunities presented for the delivery of quality reproductive health
services.

Decentralization and Health Sector Reform:
Decentralization programs in Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Egypt and Uganda
will be discussed, including tools and policies for successful imple-
mentation, allocation of functions and finances of local governments,
and long term policy reform.
