Toxic waste and garbage dumping (3)
-----------------------------------

Toxic waste and garbage dumping is a serious problem in many African
countries. Information came up that following the breakdown of gov-
ernment in Somalia nuclear and other dangerous have been dumped on
land and the sea. The same happened in other African countries. Un-
fortunately in many African countries governments do not enforce gar-
bage disposal regulation (where they exist!). Untreated material from
hospitals, dangerous chemicals, poisonous metals, infected foodstuff
and other things may be dumped in city neighbourhoods.

I would be interested if anyone of you knows about a network, e-
conference group or similar where information on is this subject is
exchanged.

Thank you for any help.
