INVITATION

AFHES -- African Forum for Health Sciences, is a non-governmental Or-

The organization of the African Health Sciences Congress has been one
of the annual activities of the AFHES since its foundation in 1994.
The Congress since inception has grown from a regional grouping in
East Africa into a continent-wide organization that brings African
Health scientists and researchers together once a year.

AFHES will incorporate into the activities of the Congress the 21st
Anniversary celebrations of the Kenya Medical Research Institute
(KEMRI).

We extend a warm welcome to you to join us in Nairobi for this first
congress of AFHES to be held in the new millennium.

We look forward to seeing you in Nairobi.
