Course Announcement - Hospital Management/Health Management

Lions Aravind Institute of Community Ophthalmology (LAICO), an ap-
proved institute of Madurai Kamraj University, offers the following 
job oriented full time postgraduate diploma courses of one year dura-
tion for the academic year 2000-2001.

1. P G Diploma in Hospital Management
2. P G Diploma in Health Management 

These courses are designed to meet an urgent need for trained health 
care professionals who can effectively manage a hospital or health 
programme.

Placement: The institute will assist the candidates to find a suit-
able job. Almost all alumni are settled in managerial positions in 
major health care organizations.

Who Can Apply: Any Graduate (Preference will be given to sponsored 
candidates with work experience in hospitals or health care organiza-
tions).

Basis of Selection: Merit based on past academic record, group dis-
cussion and interview.

How to apply: Application can be had from the coordinator on payment 
of Rs.250/- per course by demand draft in favour of "Lions Aravind 
Institute of Community Ophthalmology" payable at Madurai. Cheques and 
Postal Orders will not be accepted.
