Dear Dr,

Resistance to this drug has been occurring sporadically throughout 
the year, no statistics so far taken. But the problem seems on in-
crease and needs action. I personally, working as a doctor in pediat-
rics, have started taking statistics on that from first January this 
year. Mefloquine is out of our thinking as is not on the market and 
not yet recommended as one of essential drugs by Ministry of Health 
in our country.
