RFI: materials and contacts for 'Adilisha'

Dear Colleagues,

Adilisha is a project of fahamu (http://www.fahamu.org). The project 
seeks to strengthen the campaigning and organisational capacities of 
human rights organisations in Southern Africa using a mixture of re-
gional workshops and computer- and Internet-based distance learning 
methods.

Targeted at organisations involved in rights of women, rights of 
children, conflict resolution, social and economic rights and refu-
gees, training courses will be developed on
* investigation of human rights violations; 
* monitoring and reporting (criminal proceedings, elections etc.);
* making representations to domestic, regional and international bod-
  ies; 
* campaigning and advocacy; 
* organisational management and leadership;
* financial management and fund-raising; and 
* use of the internet for research and advocacy.

Training modules will be developed in conjunction with national, re-
gional and international experts and produced in electronic form for 
dissemination within the region.

We are writing to you to canvass two things:

1. whether your organisation has any resource material that we may 
purchase, that is relevant to any of the training modules we wish to 
develop; and

2. whether you may also point us in the direction of contacts which 
you may have that might provide us provide us with additional re-
source material.

We would be happy to reimburse any costs involved. If use is made of 
your materials, we will of course fully acknowledge the source.
