The Faculty of Health Sciences, Maastricht University, The Nether-
lands organises this summer the following courses:

1. Health Education and Health Promotion
2. Intervention Mapping: Designing Theory and Evidence-Based Health
   Education
3. Continuous Quality Improvement in Health Care Institutions


1. Health Education and Health Promotion

25 -29 June, Maastricht 

This course offers an overview of theoretical perspectives for plan-
ning health promotion, motivating stake-holders to participate, plan-
ning interventions for changing health risk behaviour and evaluating 
their effectiveness. 


2. Intervention Mapping: Designing Theory and Evidence-Based Health Edu-
   cation Programs 

2 - 6 July, Maastricht 

Health education has developed into a field equipped with a wealth of 
methods and expectations for sophisticated theory-based program de-
velopment. Intervention Mapping is a new process for the creation of 
health education programs. The emphasis of the course will be on ap-
plying this process to the real life health education programs of the 
course participants. 


3. Continuous Quality Improvement in Health Care Institutions

2 - 6 July, Maastricht 

This course will deal with current issues in Quality Management at 
health care institutions and the assessment and continuous improve-
ment of the quality of the performance of health care professionals
