The Center for Civil Society Studies at the Johns Hopkins University, 
Institute for Policy Studies, is pleased to announce its next Part-
nering for Results Institute, October 5 - 8, 2001, Baltimore, MD, 
USA, an exciting opportunity for non-profit staff and board members, 
corporate philanthropy professionals, government managers, business 
professionals, and community leaders worldwide interested in creating 
effective partnerships. 

Drawing on a unique body of research on intersectoral relationships, 
'Partnering for Results' is designed to facilitate the exchange of 
information and the development of new skills so that participants 
can forge partnerships that go beyond "project partnerships" to pro-
duce sustainable changes in institutions, situations, and communi-
ties. Using a combination of simulations, case studies, experiential 
activities, and participatory techniques, the faculty will provide 
clear-cut guidance on creating partnerships that are strategic in-
vestments which will pay dividends over time to nonprofits, busi-
nesses, government, and communities. Participation is limited, and
