The conference theme is
"Confronting health issues through interdisciplinary research"

There will be a pre-conference Workshop on the 16th August. 

Abstracts may be submitted for oral/posted presentations on health 
related research, carried out in the Eastern Cape province or in the 
rural setting in other provinces. Each submitted abstract will be re-
viewed by the scientific committee who decides on the acceptance and 
form of presentation. 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 15TH MAY 2001
