Applications are invited for the following positions in medical edu-
cation:
7 Senior lecturer/lecturer in postgraduate education, London School
of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, (Ref: BG-LDN)
7 Senior lecturer/lecturer in postgraduate education with inter-
est/expertise in the development of web-based/multimedia teaching ma-
terial, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, (Ref: BG-LIV)
7 Senior lecturer/senior adviser in medical education, Danish Bilhar-
ziasis Laboratory and Centre for Medical Parasitology, Copenhagen,
Denmark, (Ref: BG-CPN)
The holders of these positions will jointly be responsible for estab-
lishing and supporting a programme of postgraduate training on re-
search and control of malaria in collaboration with overseas centres
in Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania and The Gambia as a component of a re-
search and training programme on malaria supported by the Bill and
Melinda Gates Foundation. The training programme will involve both
conventional course work and distance-based learning.
An appointment of 3 to 5 years will be offered dependent upon previ-
ous experience. Annual salaries for positions in the UK will be in
the range of GBP 18,731 - GBP 39,241, monthly salaries in Denmark
will be in the range 30,000 - 33,000 DKr.
