RFI: Health impact of micro credit programs

Hello,

My name is Maxine Downs. I am a doctoral candidate of anthropology. 
Presently my research has to do with the impact of micro credit pro-
grams on African women's health and the improved well-being of their 
families. My study looks at women of Bamako, Mali, West Africa. If 
you could provide case studies or websites referencing such benefit I 
would greatly appreciate any information you can provide. I have a 
deadline of April 27, 2001.
