RESEARCH FELLOWS REQUIRED
The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), a non-government
public interest research institute, requires two Research Fellows,
one for its program on Sustainable Energy and the other for the pro-
gram on Health and Population. The Research Fellows will be required
to undertake original research in their program areas; formulate,
manage and administer research projects; solicit funds for the pro-
gram; organize research conferences and workshops for dissemination
of research output; edit, compile and publish research papers and
monographs; deliver training courses; give advice to the government,
donors and private organizations; and represent the institute at na-
tional and international forums.
Candidates for these positions should possess PhD in a related disci-
pline, minimum 5 years post PhD experience in a similar position,
willingness and ability to enhance the institute's funding, excellent
written and oral communication skills, and computer skills adequate
for the posts.
