AIDS campaigner dies after unsafe sex (5)
-----------------------------------------

Dear all,

I am thanking Mr. Joost Hoppenbrouwer very much for his essential
support in this humanitarian issue. Actually they (AIDS campaigners
infected from AIDS) are not from a different planet and sometimes no-
body can assure a safe sex, in this morally degraded society, even in
the most controlled social environment. We have to initiate the
mechanism of safety with reintroducing our traditional moral values
in our societies all over the world and those are capable of restor-
ing the safe situation. Prescriptions of safe sex (with condom) by
some powerful donor agencies without relating it with moral and tra-
ditional values of the civilization already failed to achieve the
safety from AIDS. Cultural, spiritual and traditional moral values in
the societies can only save us from the disaster, if at all. "Have
(?immoral) sex, but have it with condom or with healthy counterpart"
can be only a temporary solution and is bound to fail once. Human be-
ings inner power of spiritualism, moral and other traditional values
can be the most effective permanent solutions.........

So, try to stop imposing of one society's values (from overseas) on
the others. Every society has it in-built and most suitable tradi-
tional values and morals to counter any disaster like AIDS. We have
to speak in their own languages regarding traditional and moral val-
ues in a participatory manner while speaking to counter AIDS. Al-
though I am not against the conception of "safe sex", but the defini-
tion must be guided by traditional moral values for the societies. To
perceive someone's guilt, we have to judge ourselves and our outputs.
In my opinion, we, the so-called experts in the fields have the moral
responsibilities for the death of the described young AIDS cam-
paigner. So, to criticizing the incidence, we are undermining our-
selves and our capacities predisposing to our failures. Her death
suddenly and nakedly revealed the fact of our failure and recalls for
emergency measures. Are we still prepared for the fact?
