RFI: Looking for applied research and benchmarking information (2)

Chère Rachel,
Our research group, the Adaptech Project may be helpful to you. It
consists of a team of academics, students and consumers. We conduct
research on the use of computer, information and adaptive technolo-
gies by Canadian college and university students with disabilities.
Based at Dawson College in Montreal, our research is funded by both
federal and provincial grants. Our work is guided by an active and
enthusiastic cross-Canada bilingual Advisory Board. Our goal is to
provide empirically based information to concerned individuals,
groups and organizations to ensure that new computer technologies are
accessible to postsecondary students with disabilities. We have a
list of recommendations and of "free or inexpensive" software that
could be useful to you. Our reports are also available on the web.
Come visit our web site for more information at:
http://www.adaptech.org
If you wish to receive one of our manuscripts, I'd be more than happy
to send it to you by mail or e-mail.
Amicalement,
Chantal Robillard M.A.
