RFI: Malaria Prevention in East Africa

We are leaving for a three-week trip to Tanzania and Kenya (including 
a trek on Mt. Kilimanjaro) and are worried about the side-effects of 
Lariam. Is doxycyclin as efficacious? Need to know immediately, as we 
need to start Lariam immediately.
