"Two worlds meet a Third"
4 - 6 October 2001
Mannheim, Germany, 

It is the first combined congress of the

* FIDE - German working group for Obstetrics and Gynecology in Devel-
  oping Countries 
* DTC - German tropical surgeons
* plus a nursing-sciences symposium on inter-cultural communication

The congress offers presentations by international contributors from 
all over the world on the main topics:
* HIV/AIDS and relevance for surgery and gynaecology/obstetrics
* Oncology - Options for developing countries
* Ultrasound in the developing world
