RFI: Information on HIV-Saliva Tests

Dear Afro-netters,

A company that wants to use HIV-Saliva rapid tests for their employ-
ees has just approached me. However they are not sure about a few 
things:

Its sensitivity compared to ELISA? Its specifity compared to ELISA?

They also claimed that despite this being an American invention, the 
Americans do not prefer saliva tests, why not?

I would be grateful to get full information on HIV-saliva tests so 
that I can help the company.
