ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

This will be a state of the art international conference focusing on
"Reshaping the Nursing Landscape", which will be the second confer-
ence of its kind to be hosted by the Department of Nursing Education,
University of the Witwatersrand.

The conference will impact on 
- An improved and appropriate nursing service, teaching and research 
  in response to the societal indicators of health and disease And pro-
  vide new insights on:
- Health care and health policy issues for South Africa and Africa as 
  a whole. And seek to formulate: 
- Coherent teaching and research strategies, which will have positive 
  outcomes for the South African health profile By exchanging ideas on 
- Nursing care and problem solving for health care within the global 
  context
