RFI: OVC Research Project

The Children's Institute at the University of Cape Town is working 
with the Departments of Health and Social Development in developing 
policy guidelines on the care of Orphaned vulnerable Children (OVCs) 
in South Africa. As part of the process we are collecting and 
reviewing related policies, programmes and research from around 
Southern and East Africa as well as Thailand and Brazil. In 
particular, we are wanting to access critical commentary and 
evaluations of orphan programmes and policies.

If anyone is involved in, or knows of, relevant OVC programmes in 
these countries, or of such research relating to orphans, please 
would you contact me.
