Yes they are too, but research has demonstrated that if mothers die, 
the chance of the child to die is much greater than if she lives. No 
such research exists for fathers - unfortunately...... maybe it is 
due to the lack of research, but it could also be because fathers are 
not good enough in caring for small babies.....
