LIVE INTERNET CHAT

As part of his efforts to interact with the electorates, the Honour-
able Speaker, Ghali Umar Na'Abba will be holding a live discussion 
(Chat) with Nigerians over the internet.

The live Videos of the Chat, which has been organized by Abuja Nig 
Chatroom, will be streamed live over the internet.

The live conference, which is linking Nigerians from Europe, Asia, 
the Americas and Africa, was originally planned by Nigerians in the 
Diaspora who have been seeking for a role to play in the democratic 
project.

Over 1,000 Nigerian and others interested in Nigeria in have indi-
cated interest in joining the Chatroom. Several questions are already 
being sent in by e-mails. The live Internet discussion is billed to 
take place on Monday January 21, 2002.

Time: 17.30hrs -18.30 hrs (GMT+1)

Arrangement is also being made to broadcast the discussion live on 
the Nigerian Television (NTA), Voice of Nigeria (VOA) and Radio Nige-
ria.

During the chat the Honourable Speaker will field any question on the 
Democratic Experience of the last Three years, the House of Represen-
tatives, Legislative Progress and How the House of representatives 
has been able to fulfil its Contract with Nigeria.

Questions from the Chat room e-mail and Telephone will be answered.
