------------------------------------------------

This is a highly commendable project with beneficial public health
education implications. Please keep it up.

The needs justification assertion that "reproductive health, sexual
rights and HIV/AIDS issues...are hardly reported by the media" in Ni-
geria is simply not true.

It is true however to say that these issues are most often sensation-
alised and not responsibly/ethically treated in Nigerian media for
public benefit.

The Centre for Health Policy and Strategic Studies (CHPSS), Lagos,
hopes to address these two issues among others in its forth-coming
workshop on "Ethical Issues in Health Reporting in Nigeria".
