Consequences of Bad HIV/AIDS Communication Strategies (2)
---------------------------------------------------------

Dear colleagues,

To me the case for spotlight in This Day newspaper is calling for the
attention of all stake holders to the problem of stigmatization, re-
jection and human right abuse of people living with STI/HIV/AIDS. The
public needs education on care and support & groups such as:

State AIDS control agency
Local AIDS control agency
Nigeria AIDS alliance nearly in all the states of the Federation
Living Hope Care in Ilesha
Society for women and AIDS in Nigeria
Community Health Information Education Forum and many other NGOs in
HIV&AIDS communication.

Their addresses could be obtained from Development Information Net-
work, SACA, and better still there is an organization called Journal-
ist against AIDS and media network. We all have so much to learn and
do.

Thank you and best regards,

Remi Akinmade
Executive Director C.H.I.E.F.
