RFI: Role of Politics, Culture and Religion on Sexual Health
------------------------------------------------------------

Dear Afro-netters!

I am a gynecologist/obstetrician working as a project coordinator of
an HIV/AIDS project in Namibia. I am preparing a lecture for doctors
on the role of politics, culture and religion on sexual health. I
would appreciate it very much if you could tell about your experi-
ences about the role of these to the sexual health of the people in
your community or country.

Are politics, culture and religion protecting or threatening the sex-
ual health of communities and individuals according to your experi-
ence? Do you have suggestions how these could be used as tools in a
positive way? Of course I would also appreciate it very much if you
know of any surveys or research done on this subject.

Please send your comments straight to me:

With thanks and kindest regards
