The disorder referred to in the Canada.com article, originally pub-
lished in the Canadian Medical Association Journal, is Meralgia 
paresthetica, defined as "a symptom complex that includes numbness, 
paresthesias, and pain in the anterolateral thigh, which may result 
from either an entrapment neuropathy or a neuroma of the lateral 
femoral cutaneous nerve (LFCN)." (Grossman MG, Ducey SA, Nadler SS, 
Levy AS, 2001).

No medical specialist, I searched Medline for 'tight jeans' to come 
up with that.
