2nd Community Forum
Objectives:
* To analyze the answer to HIV/AIDS in the region since the division
of the community, the networks, the NGOs and the Governments.
* To promote the dialogue among the community delegates and the in-
ternational organizations on the topics and expectations of the Re-
gion
* To promote the visibility of the local community and its experience
Parallel to the Forum 2003, the 2nd Community Forum was developed in
session on April 7 and 8. Some activities were present like: Guidance
community approach and Networks meeting

Communist Party and President of Cuban State Council. Commandant in
Chief.
Forum 2003. Finally something new?
* Yes, there were a lot of good and new ideas and results.
* HIV/AIDS are not a unique epidemic. There are more than one
HIV/AIDS epidemic.
* America Latina and Caribbean are the second HIV/AIDS affected area
but we will win, we are optimist and we are fighting.
Forum 2003. Havana:
Forum 2003 in Havana, Cuba, intended to continue fortifying the
process of experience and knowledge exchange between the National
Programs, the Organizations of people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV),
the non-Governmental Organizations and Networks, the Public and Pri-
vate Institutions of Latin America and the Caribbean and Interna-
tional Agencies, as well as promoting closer ties between the differ-
ent sectors, consolidating the Forum as a facilitator of dialogue on
the needs of the region.
