Dear Ron,

The proposal you ask us feedback about sounds way too mechanistic. 
Between the lines, it says that if these nice things proposed were 
put in place, morbi-mortality in all this challenge areas would go 
down. Well, you know it ain't that simple. Making the info available 
is only the very first small step. All the "other" things that make 
things turn out the way they do (some of which you and I seem to 
agree on, but cannot agree on posting as part of the supercourse) -- 
yes, why not say it, the politics of it -- (unfortunately) matter 
more than access to the info on how to make a better world... with 
better health.

How sad it would be to get funded, put all (y)our wonderful efforts 
on it with all (y)our heart(s) and, 5 years down the line, have to 
face the people we are purporting to help to tell them. Sorry, wide-
spread access to the info alone is not "it"....let us try some other 
pat solution for the next 5 years.
