RFI: Research on Glucose 6 phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (3)
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Hi James,

It is not particularly difficult to measure G6PD levels in blood sam-
ples. Advise you link up with a teaching hospital or any good path
lab in your country. As far as the literature on this subject matter
is concerned in Africa, a heck of a lot of epidemiological and clini-
cal research work was done in Nigeria from the 60's through to the
80's by L.Luzzato, G. Esan, Isaacs and colleagues. Much of these
works were published in international and reputable western journals.
Search Medline for literature details.

Best. Feel free to revert if you need any further assistance.
