Virus in AFRO-NETS attachment?
------------------------------
Dear colleagues,
We got the message below from one of our subscribers warning about a
virus infected attachment sent from our mailing list.
Please take notice that AFRO-NETS does not allow and will not send
out any attachment via the mailing list. The message below is most
probably caused by one of the mass mailing worms that collect ad-
dresses from an infected computer and combine it randomly with mes-
sages from the same machine. (e.g. the original message seems to
originate from Ethiopia: <auto-000021048327@telecom.net.et>).
Nevertheless be careful opening any attachment to your mail.
Best regards,
Dieter Neuvians

Dear Colleagues,
My internet supplier has just warned me that an excel script file re-
ceived from this list is infected with the BUGBEAR virus. Do not open
the file Letter.xls.scr. Depending on how you set your machine you
may not see the .scr extension and this may look like an ordinary ex-
cel file with only the .xls extension or not even this showing.
Sincerely
