Big Brother Africa - are contestants practicing safe sex? (7)
-------------------------------------------------------------

Dear All,

It was refreshing to read of Kiwanuka's concern with the retrogres-
sive activities on the Big Brother saga and its possible impact on
our efforts to 'roll back' the HIV pandemic.

We should let these organizers know that they are doing untold damage
to our people especially the young. They have a responsibility to
contribute to stemming the HIV pandemic rather than promoting such
behavior on television.

Unfortunately I am ignorant of the organizers' contact address. It
would be nice to get it and circulate it so that we can send let-
ters/e-mails of protest. Africans must surely reject this serious
erosion of our culture.

Best regards,
