Anti-Retroviral Treatment for Children with HIV/AIDS

As a clinician/scientist working in a developing country in sub-
Saharan Africa with more than it's share of HIV/AIDS I have been 
keenly following the debates and activities of pressure groups advo-
cating for cheaper ARV's. I am however surprised at the low emphasis 
given on availing ARV therapy in children yet they are largely inno-
cent (most having acquired it vertically). Most companies do not even 
bother to manufacture paediatric formulations and when they are 
available the prices may even be higher than those of the adult for-
mulations! 
 
I would like contacts with those groups fighting for these children. 
However it is the duty of us all to aid in the fight for children to 
also get treated with ARV.
