"Living for Tomorrow"
 
The following resources, on taking up gender issues in HIV prevention, 
are available from the NIKK LIVING FOR TOMORROW project. 
 
Living for Tomorrow was a 3 year action/research project, funded by the 
Nordic Institute for Women's Studies and Gender Research, that worked 
to build a gender-issue centered HIV prevention strategy with col-
leagues in Estonia. Its outcomes profile the challenges of gender-
focused, cross-cultural implications significant for all countries.
 
The project has documented the processes of exploring, researching, 
collaboratively building and developing gender problems that haunt and 
sabotage effective HIV prevention work. It has also produced a practi-
cal workshop guide for actively taking up gender in HIV and sexual 
safety education, and a teenage written leaflet about these concerns.
