Zimbabwean women believe wife beating is OK (3)

The conclusion of the Zimbabwean study may read "very strange.....", 
but it is NOT fiction!!!! 
 
Check this out too! The stuff of Hollywood movie perhaps: What (Afri-
can) women put up with!
 
In another similar KAP study on condom use in marriages and stable 
relationships in Nakuru District, Kenya, East Africa, over 70% of 
women respondents believe that men in marriages and stable relation-
ships commonly have regular extra-marital relations. Despite this be-
lief, majority of the women in the study say that it is OK for men 
not to use condoms in marriages and stable relationships but they can 
use the condom in their extra-marital escapades. This is because they 
do not want to risk possible spousal abuse (diplomatesse for wife-
beating) and break-up of their marriages/stable relationship for fear 
of being accused of mistrust of their partner's faithfulness.
