Maternal Deaths Disproportionately High in Developing Countries (3)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

In his contribution, Dr. James Tumwine, the celebrated founder
editor of African Health Sciences, Makerere University Faculty of
Medicine's peer reviewed journal on health and development re-
cently indexed on MEDLINE, said that it is not his specialty "to
SELL the information and tested, evidence-based ideas" (as to
what works and what doesn't for the reduction of maternal deaths)
"to our communities and decision-makers....".

Pray what is his specialty then.....to publish peer-reviewed sci-
entific literature from Uganda that is toasted in London, cata-
logued and shelved in the Library of Congress in the USA?
