A Poem to HIV Virus
-------------------

Dear All,

Here is a nice Poem I found on net, worth pondering.

The year was 1996
The slip of paper passed to me
Contained that bloody awful news,
I had what doctors said was HIV

You live inside me and share my body
But you will never be a bind
You seek to devastate my immunity
But will never control my mind

You need me as a host
And you share my entire life
You may try to cause destruction
But alas, you're not my wife

So dear virus, note these few words
Although we've reached a compromise
I have grown with you through the years
And really have become quite wise

You see my friend unless I agree
That you want to cause destruction
I will fight you at every turn
And this is no assumption

I know what you require
And I know how you replicate
So without my full consent
You will never participate

There may be days (just maybe)
That you feel you've won the fight
But then my dear virus
You may have lost your sight

I have made so many new friends
Who brighten up my days
If you think that you control me
Buddy...just two words...NO WAYS
