RFI: Training in Medical Informatics (5)
----------------------------------------
Dr Daire:
If you do not have the time to leave your work and family in Ma-
lawi in order to attend classes, your chances of getting a Mas-
ter's degree in informatics are very limited. However, if you are
interested in a Master's or a certificate in public health infor-
matics, which covers most of the courses in a traditional medical
informatics, plus courses in data mining, GIS, web-based health
applications, etc., your best choice is at the School of Public
Health at the University of Illinois, Chicago. It is an accred-
ited program, completely, online, and designed for busy employees
like you. You may access the site at http://www.uic.edu/sph/phi/
