Thank you so much for identifying the unsung heroes of the Afri-
can battle against HIV/AIDS. The frontline health providers who 
continue to strive on a daily basis to make an impact on the 
fight against AIDS despite grossly inadequate infrastructure in 
a generally unfavorable working environment are the true heroes 
of this struggle. Many have died in the process, many are too 
ill to continue the fight, many have been severely traumatized 
psychologically but their spirit remains alive as they give 
their all. They are the real heroes of our time.
