Vision, Objectives and Strategic Partners

It has been brought to my notice that an additional multilateral
institution, the EU, is also an important strategic partner of
health reforms in Nigeria having heavily funded the national im-
munization progamme since 2001. New support from the EU to Nige-
ria in 2004 - 2008 will amount to over Euros 50 million.

Many thanks to Gerald Moore, Team leader, EU-Prime, National
Programme on Immunization, Abuja, Nigeria for this important in-
formation.
