AIDS is a war against humanity (2)
----------------------------------

Hi,

I like the message. It has a lot of meaning to me. I have re-
turned home, in Swaziland and have spent many days weeping when
I look at the orphans that have almost no one to offer them
help.

I have since started an ONO on Psychosocial support (PSS) for
families affected with HIV/AIDS. Teaming up with friends, we are
setting up initially play therapy groups for children using
football as an entry point. I have also on my own visited commu-
nities and have as a start supported one family to grow food-
maize, beans, pumpkins, sweet potatoes and some local lentil.
The crops are exciting. God willing, I will expand this to a few
more families. The financial support I give goes into paying for
the tractor, seed, fertiliser and weeding. I am looking forward
to a bumper harvest. The family is so depressed that there will
be no room for storing the food.

This discussion has made me think that including families af-
fected by HIV/AIDS will give me spiritual fulfilment and save my
tears. Any more ideas from any of you? I also have a proposal on
PSS for fund raising. Please give me ideas on which donors to
target to. I am willing to share it with any one interested.
