Thomas Adeoye Lambo, former WHO DDG and psychiatrist is dead

LAGOS, March 16, 2004 - One time Deputy Director General of the
World Health Organization (WHO) and renowned psychiatrist, Prof.
Thomas Adeoye Lambo, is dead. He was 81. News of his demise fil-
tered out yesterday after family sources confirmed that he died
on Saturday in an airplane conveying him to Geneva which he was
believed to be visiting for health reasons.
