Hi,

Thanks for sharing this rather sad news. Isn't it even sadder
that such an international figure could pass away in a plane on
his way to Europe to seek emergency health care!!! What does
this say about the health care delivery system in Nigeria? This
was a clear vote of no confidence. Whatever happened to the Na-
tional Hospital in Abuja supposed to be the nation's number one
Center of Excellence? Isn't that institution equipped to respond
to all types of emergencies? Perhaps the institution needs to
embark on an advocacy drive to regain lost confidence.
