No ARV roll-out is better than a bad ARV roll-out (11)

Dear Aruna,
I'd like to reply but I'm too busy here in Indonesia helping to
prepare the training modules for the nurses and doctors who are
learning how to identify and manage HIV infection so that they
can start to prescribe antiretrovirals next month (and be able
to provide other supports to those with HIV who won't need ARVs
yet). Several dedicated and committed project and government
staff - Indonesian and expatriate - have been working late every
day.
I wish you had been working alongside me the last few days and
you would be able to see what the problems are - and that they
must be discussed. We are not against treatment - but we want it
to work - and we want it to be fair.
Best wishes,
Wendy Holmes
