Wise move. If one looks at the essential allegation that these
Bulgarians alone conspired to infect Libyan children it can only
be believed by those who want to believe it.


 > But again 400 children is too much to be an accident for that

 > medical profession. Whose life does not count? The innocent
 > children or parentless street children? Whose life is more
 > valuable? The president or the prime minister? We all have
 > blood flowing in our veins and so our lives are equally valu-

It appears that the Bulgarians are being held responsible for
"an epidemic caused by poor hygiene at the hospital, not by any
international conspiracy".


 > Forget about Libyan transparency and so forth! America argued to
 > be the creator of democracy and guardian of justice and human
 > rights but we have seen the kind of justice and human rights
 > through the Iraq war detainees.

I have noticed that there is less attention given to the follow-
ing:
"The medics had always protested their innocence and said they
had been tortured by the police, with daily beatings, sexual
assault and electric shocks."
Why do you suppose that would be?


 > This only proves that the matter is not nationality but rather
 > the action done is not agreeable in the face of those who care
 > for humanity. Let us not deviate from the core of the story -
 > 400 children infested with AIDS virus! 99 good deeds should
 > not be ignored at the cost of one bad deed if after all Libya
 > being praised was a bad deed!

That is not the core of the story at all. Perhaps the truth that
some will deliberately not see is that these Bulgarians are the
scapegoats for the lack of proper hygiene procedures at this
hospital at the time? Totalitarian regimes always need conspira-
cies to fuel their propaganda machinery. This is just another
example of this phenomenon.
