Church Leaders to Mobilize against HIV/AIDS...(4)
-------------------------------------------------
That Church leaders are meeting to discuss HIV/AIDS is a very
welcome development. Although as earlier raised, cares needs to
be taken not to tamper with what has already been achieved by
the Civil Society and other stakeholders. What is very crucial
here to me is the fact that religious leaders need to know the
importance of emphasising care for people living with HIV/AIDS.
There is so much of trouble! The religious leaders cannot "sell"
their long held beliefs because of HIV/AIDS, yet they have to
find a way to balance up things so they and the "CHURCH" can
move on and make a difference.
