Dear Colleagues

Great.... and when we know how many drugs... who is going to pay
for them?

There are really big issues around the ethics and the economics
of health, as well as the medical dimension. Quantifying drug
requirements should go hand in hand with quantifying money re-
quirements, and the methodology for quantifying money require-
ments should also be addressed carefully. What are the ethics of
a drug becoming an orphan, even though it could do some good for
patients, but cannot make money for its "owner"?
